Why I've not been blogging lately

It's been a long time since I've posted anything. The reason for this is I've been away from home, filming a "making of" documentary for a feature film shot in Hyderabad and Bombay, India. I'll go into details in a later post but, on the eve of my return to the Maldives, I just wanted to say what a fantastic experience it has been for me. I've met some great talents in Indian cinema and made many friends. No one ever treated me like an outsider, but always went out of their way to make me feel part of the production team. Sadly, in the Maldives we don't always treat our co-workers from the subcontinent in the same way.

Now, more than ever before, I want to make a really good film in the Maldives.
