Beyond Himalaya: Nyalam
Nyalam, 3700metres, 3 December
-We finally got to see Katmandu valley in all its winter glory as we drove to the border with Tibet. Mists hung over parts of the valley while some Himalayan peaks towered over the hills. Sadly the terraced fields were bare.
-Border formalities went smoothly but the landrover broke down just before the first Tibetan town of Zhangmu.
-Several hours of delay meant we finally arrived at Nyalam in Tibet well after dark. But the sunset as we drove up the hills was breathtaking.

This looks like a good place where Al can throw away my Titanic DVD. Seems like there's a nice long drop. Perhaps, life after Titanic will be better for me. More practical. No more sobbing after every sour love affair. By the way, there is a third movie which I found myself crying (after Titanic and Cinema Paradiso). It's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King's Extended Edition which runs like four hours and have extra scenes which were not in the theatrical version. There is this scene where when Frodo and Sam are climbing Mount Mordor; Sam recalls the smells and sights of the Shire which they have long forgotten after their long treacherous journey across Middle Earth. I couldn't help but cry when Sam was recounting his memories of the Shire. I wonder (hey that was a Yasir phrase) whether Al and Muha also got sentimental when they were reminded of home while they climbed the mountains of the Himalayas.
Well, while watching other "emotional" movies, my eyes just become misty. But in the particular cases of Titanic, Cinema Paradiso and The Return of the King, I was actually crying out loud with my baritone voice.
Who said that?! Maybe I cried out loud because "Kalaayaa Nulaa" was so vulgar, uuugh!
maybe i had a kinky need for all those tissue cos Kalaayaa Nulaa was so kinky and vulgar heh heh
