Ten days to the Himalaya

A blanket of cloud swirls over Mount Everest in this imagegrab from footage I filmed for Maldivians on Mountains in 2009. Less than two years later, I'm gearing up to go back to Nepal, where I'm hoping to stay longer. Although I've gone there four times already, this is the first time I shall be flying in; I almost always took the train from Trivandrum to North India and crossed the border into Nepal on foot previously.

Hopefully I'll be armed with a new camera when I leave the Maldives and plan to visit and experience more of the Himalaya and the mountain people this time around.
